Aim: Use a bottle as a toy to encourage student participation.
This child-friendly version of the game works well for large classrooms or even VIP students. It can be adapted to your lesson objectives which could be learning new words or sentences.

Flashcards relating to the lesson
plastic bottle
Step 1
Practice the key language with the class.
Step 2
Let the student make a circle while sitting on the floor.
Step 3
Demonstrate the game by spinning the bottle in the middle of the circle.
Step 4
Whomever the bottle top is pointing to should repeat the key vocabulary. Remember to make it fun and exciting by interacting with the students.
Step 5
Let everyone have a turn!
For older students, you could include a knockout phase. This time when the bottle top points to a student they get eliminated from the game but still have to repeat the key vocabulary.
