Aim: This game is great for learning sentences. Perfect for an energetic class.

Materials
Flashcards relating to the lesson
Hula hoops (1 for each word in the sentence)
Step 1
Set the hula hoops down in a row.
Step 2
Demonstrate how to play by jumping from one hula hoop to the next while repeating the key vocabulary - one word per hoop.
Step 3
Let your TA have a turn to demonstrate.
Step 4
Ask your TA to explain the dangers of slipping on the hula hoop to the class.
Step 5
Let the students have a turn.
Step 6
Once all the students have had a turn, set a timer and let the whole class try complete the jumps while repeating the key vocabulary.
Step 7
Play a few rounds to build on sentence rhythm.
