Aim: Use bowling as a medium to learn new vocabulary.

2 Teacher | 1 Student | Age 2+

Materials

Flashcards relating to the lesson

Bowling pins / empty bottles / toys

Ball

Step 1

Place the pins / empty bottles on the floor.

Step 2

Ask your TA to assist you in demonstrating the game.

Step 3

Give your TA the ball.

Step 4

Elicit the key vocabulary from your TA.

Step 5

Once they repeat the key vocabulary they can try to knock down the pins.

Step 6

Let the students try.

This game works well for both small and larger classrooms as well as VIP students.

Try splitting the class into teams and let the kids name their teams. The team with the most points at the end wins!
